Sean was born in Baltimore and spent most of his childhood in Baltimore and Ocean City, Maryland. In order to remain close to home, Sean attended Salisbury University, studying Conflict Analysis and Dispute Resolution as well as Psychology. His undergraduate studies took him to India, where he learned ADR techniques under Dr. Arun Gandhi, grandson of Mohandas Gandhi. Sean’s interests in studying and resolving conflicts ultimately lead him to pursue a legal education and career.After graduating magna cum laude from Salisbury University in 2014, Sean moved to Virginia to attend the Marshall-Wythe School of Law at the College of William & Mary. Throughout law school, Sean supported students experiencing legal trouble through Student Legal Services and was an executive board member of the Mediation Society and the Sports & Entertainment Law Society. Sean also worked as a consultant with an international basketball agency, assisting players acquire contracts domestically, in the NBA and G-league, as well as overseas, in Israel and England.
Upon receiving his JD from William & Mary in 2017, Sean began to pursue a career in litigation and joined Lynch Seli in 2018 to focus on insurance liability and workers’ compensation defense. Sean’s skills and experience in ADR allow him to negotiate effectively and communicate clearly with clients, opposing counsel, and in the courtroom.
Sean believes he has found a new home in Richmond and enjoys the many fantastic restaurants and breweries the city has to offer. In his free time, Sean enjoys playing soccer, watching hockey, and walking his four-legged roommate, Oshie. He boasts an undefeated streak of being voted best uncle by his nephews, Maverick and Wyatt.
